With the hot water failing in the main school block due to aging boilers coming to end of life, we are working to find the most cost-effective way to update an aging system. In the meantime, however as the system fed the kitchens emergency action was required to provide the necessary welfare facilities required to enable to the kitchens to continue to
function.

Temporary water heaters were needed for the 6 th form servery handwash facility as well as the main kitchens handwash and washing up sink.

The works had to be completed by the end of the following day or the kitchens would be forced to close meaning the school would have to also close. The required parts were sourced, and works were completed as required.
